Costa Rica is a wildlife paradise. While the sheer number and variety of birds may take center stage, there is no shortage of other fascinating wildlife with which the avid animal lover may interact. These images are from a trip taken in February/March 2024. They are not meant to represent an exhaustive list of species - that would perhaps take a lifetime. However, I see every encounter as something to be treasured.
